I think you could get successful flowering with a 10 hr light cycle, but for minimum amounts of additional effort you could give them extra 2 hours of strong artificial light and get much better end results.

As far as the wild herb pollen goes, weed is typically wind pollinated, though insects do have an effect as well. I'm going to assume that as long as the mountains are upwind from the wild cannabis, chances of pollination will be low. Of course, the next wild field's pollen 80 km away could also travel far enough. I'd hope for no seeds but expect at least some.
