vedaponics works by drip only becuz its just slightly lower tech than flood and drain and was the easiest/simplest to make out of the materials at hand (either free or supercheap) but our setup isnt what id call ghetto-fabulous, more like shanty-town shiznit
the disadvantage is that the drippers are exposed to the light so they grow green algae beards that have to be cleaned off occasionally or else they get clogged. ive thought about all different ways to deal with that problem but all my ideas seem like more of a pain than just cleaning off the drippers now and then.
