Recovering Post/Thanks count

Hey mods just tell me if this isn't possible but I had about 5,850 posts and like 1,700 thanks. I think I'm lowballing but I don't mind if it's not exact, it would just be said to lose all those lovely numbers showing how many awesome posts I made and how the people love me.

Again np if you can't, I'd just be super said if I lost my e cred

I'm in no power to do either of them, assuming they can be done.

But...

I'm 99% sure the answer is 'no' to both counts based on the discussion in amongst the mods-admin squad

search also shows only 8 posts replies, not just your count is gone, but what you posted seems gone also.

I think he's well aware of how and why his post, there for his count as well, are gone.

His question is, I believe, is can we artificially reinstate his post and thanks count.

The 'thanks button' is like half screwy...ie. Snowmayne and a couple others 'thanks' count.

I'm not even sure we can tamper with that much. Although Residual Envy was able to set Terry's 'Thanks given' back to '0', when Terry asked.

Not sure if artificial post count adding messes up anything in the database or what, but those who can, if they can, don't seem to be moving in the 'yes' direction.

yea I had to delete my acct, long story but I'm back now.

Name and post count changed back, but Thanks are a double entendre hack job which can't be altered, even when it glitches unless I recompile the entire database.

I'm glad your back in the saddle again Terry.

I figured that it could be brought back... I just wanted to keep you posted as it went.

I hope that wasn't too stressful and I relayed it all fairly to you and that I fairly represented the info that was coming through the mod-admin talk.

Post counts don't effect how we talk each post....
But like scars and wrinkles, they tell some story even in our silence.
This is a community and visible-participating 'elders' is good imo
