Can you see the two tiny wood peckers or what ever they might be? They were peckin' purty hard... One of them got in a hole in the rotten part, right above the cross cut you see, and was pulling bits of wood out and tossing them. I wondered if they were trying to make a nest. They were so tiny, they would fit in your hand easily....

looks like woody to me....i havea pic of woody in an album...

if he/she's throwing stuff, they prolly found/heard movement in there's somewheres. Gotta get that worm!! U know the woodpecker has the shortest life span of all the winged?? Because he bangs his head all day long....but does remind us of of our own heartbeat.,...for he keep the beat....so the 'Elders say!

One of these is my regular pear, the other one is a Bradford pear and I was trying to get a pic of a honey bee on the flower, but she moved right when the camer took the pic so all I got was a pic of her butt. LOL

Look like white breasted nut hatches, they usually work their way down the tree like those two pictured
