Attempting a couple of new things I've never done before. Less than stellar results, I must say.
![]() Believe it or not, this is supposed to be a peace sign. It's not. Well, maybe it is on Caprica. Bad. Just bad. ![]() This was an attempt at the leaf we love. Not perfect by any means, but much closer than the peace sign. I think with a couple more attempts I might have it dialed in. It looks like an aloe plant to me. |

Say hi to the gang.
![]() These also ended up as little graduates for all the kids too. Three inch clay pots upended with painted ornament bulbs for heads and felt accents. They're so cool.

Done a couple more lately, for my uni work wev'e been doing a documentary, so aside from the interviews ive shot ive gone out and filmed a bunch of random stuff to use as inserts, and just edited them into random videos to show my group, see if they like what ive shot etc. but i think they work as films in thier own right.

Long aggravating day. Forgot for an instant what those are like. Time Out Of Mind, beer, loungin, laughs, pastel filling in all the cuts in my hands.
I don't ever finish anything, drawing wise. I don't like the feeling. So, they're not done, I know. Don't think I've ever drawn whilst talkin to someone. new. strange.

Glad to see the thread is at least coming back... I've recently started a silver jewelry class this semester I'll try to take pictures of each of my project to upload at some point. =)
EDIT: Ok so I brought my first project home with me and took a few pictures, it still needs to be refined a bit more to get that beautiful gleaming silver look. Enjoy =) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ![]() ![]()

I like the class, it allows me to actually use some skills I developed while in the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic... =)

First attempt with a Yudu
I've always wanted to try my hand at screen printing shirts, and have made a coupe of half assed stabs at it. But for Xmas this year my SO gave me an eBay gift card...apparently I'm hard to buy for. So I'm searching for "estate pipes" with this card burning a hole in my pocket. One night when I logged on at work, she'd sent me a link for a Yudu Personal Screen Printer...well, at least Yudu. Not totally sure about the rest of it. So while I was supposed to be doing paperwork, I'm researching this Yudu thing. Next thing I knew one was being shipped to me from Utah.
Here's my first experimenting on it. ![]() This is the original design on a transparency. ![]() The unexposed photo emulsion sheet in the dring tray. ![]() The transparent sheet on one side of the emulsion sheet. It seems to have no purpose other than to be peeled off. ![]() The burned emulsion sheet. ![]() The burned screen after washout. ![]() Thev shirt isn't laid out very well. it doesn't look as wobbly in real life. ![]() An earlier attempt. If anyone's interested in a more detailed review on the Yudu, drop me a line. It has a lot of pros, but it also has a lot o9f cons. |

I wish, no we buy sheets of silver stock. Right now we're working with 22 Gauge silver for our projects. I started designing a pendant this week to be made over this coming week, should be interesting.

^^^ That is so cool. When the time comes that you're ready to sell some, or you're ready to do some customy stuff, put me at the head of the line. I like silver jewelry alot better than gold.
