they're all formed from 3 .RAW images.

If anyone has some spare time could they explain how this is done?
i know i could probably google and find out but meh ill wait for u guys.

I previously thought you needed something like an HD camera or w.e for shit like this, but apparently you just layer pictures?

someone wanna lay out a "how to"?

Near where I live, oldham greater manchester. the actual place is called Dovestones Reservoir which is connected to the Pennines a set of low mountains that run along the length of england

edit: the ones in the first post are just a nearby cemetery

Unless im mistaken, HDR is done by layering 3 identical shots over each other, only each of the 3 shots are exposed differently, so when you layer it up you get the highest dynamic range (HDR) - meaning more contrast, saturation etc.

Shit clive, good job! I can see you spent a lot of time on these, nice classy borders too. I love how some of them aren't way over the top saturated. I've tried to do HDR's from raw before but can't ever seem to get them to turn out right?

Do you use PS or Lightroom or something like that?

thanks guys and yea im trying to find the right balance with saturation etc, to provide enough to give just a touch of surrealism but not too much to make it look like a tacky filter. i use photomatrix and mess about with that and then do the final touches with paint shop pro. im a total ameuture to be honest, still trying to find my way
