Grateful Dead Skulls

I've been messing around with one of the most famous band logos in the world, and I thought I'd share my creations with you.

I love your fractals! Can you make one that looks like a brain?
Actually that one kinda does.

Fractals are really hit and miss. Basically, you just pick a spot and start to zoom. After awhile, you kinda know where you're going to find certain kinds of formations, but the Art God still plays a huge role getting you there. A fractologist friend of mine (this guy writes the code for fractal creation, he's that into it) describes it as art creating itself, using the poor sap at the computer as a tool for that purpose. It's true of all art to some degree, but very true of fractals.

Here's one where I was trying to go for an area that looks "brainy" and I ended up with flowers.

Very cool. I'm not a Dead fan, but they have one of the better logos in the business.

I've always liked that about the Mandelbrot Set. It looks a bit like a Thai Buddha laying on his side. I always rotate them so they point up, for that seated Buddha effect.
