Everyone is going to discourage it but chances are 99% if faced with the same situation would go for it provided the chick/dude was chill...Older partners aren't always "creepers" they may just not have the psychical assets to net one of their peers, or in the small town situation saturation with peers could have been reached and the only options are looking outside of the normal 2-3 window...

But 16 isn't that innocent of an age anymore, and 19-16 isn't a huge gap at all...

I think it depends a lot on the individuals, sometimes a big age difference means nothing, often it`s not the healthiest thing.

I wouldn`t worry about the moral aspects too much, a 16-19 age difference is nothing really. More the legal aspects.

how is that stupid? It's for situations exactly like this, when someone is technically still a minor but the age difference isn't so much that it should be considered "illegal". and I have a slight problem with us creating laws to decide when a person is able to make the decision on when they can have sex. I mean shit, I understand that we need to protect young people from adults simply because adults have so much more experience and can persuade them to do things they otherwise wouldn't do. So I do agree with the laws, but I think they've gotten a little out of hand at this point.

Plus, I can name more than 10 more stupid laws than that one.

I'll start with some of my favorite stupid laws just in Texas.

You are not allowed to own any realistic dildos or vibrators.

You are not allowed to own more than 8 dildos and vibrators.

More than 16 women can not live in the same house because it can then be considered a brothel. Sororities are exempt from this law.

And there's so many more... Like in Maryland it's illegal to take a lion to the movie theater.

that might be, but im pretty sure that if the parents have a vendetta, they can still push it through regardless. to be safe, do what scatter says. if you really like her, get in good with the parents and show em who you are instead of letting them assume what you are.
