Generally what I do is when I wake up I pour a glass of Orange Juice take a table spoon or two of oil and just plop it in the cup. The oil floats on top so you just chug the glass go out the door drive an hour to class half way through your ripped and wondering what to do.

who puts olive oil in mason jars? - you can also just wait until it cools if you were going to put it into mason jars.
good shit - ive been wanting to try canna-olive oil for some time now, since i love olive oil anyway. i found a different recipe for it though, ill have to find it, try it, and post it. |

i just made some cannola oil the other day
1/3 cup canola oil and 5 grams it wasnt really enough damn ghiradeli brownie mixes

okay, so i finally got around to trying this last night.
my friend and i took 2 shot glasses worth of olive oil, and used at least 1.5g of finely broken up bud. we cooked it on just above low for 10 minutes (medium-low was too high, it was like deep frying the bits of "testbud" we threw in instantly). once finished, we put the oil in the freezer for about 15 minutes, and then we both slammed the shots (empty stomachs). this was @ about 1am. 30 minutes in you start to feel a slight buzz and you notice how little that you're moving you're face. we weren't sure if it was working too well, but every hour it seemed the high would reach a new plateau. come 3am, my friend and i were just absolutely couchlock stoned, im pretty used to being up late so i was still pretty up, but my friend was toast. i felt amazingly good. finally got to sleep around 5am and woke up around noon, but here it is now at quarter to 1pm, and i'm still fucking high. never been this stoned off of any edibles in my life

You would want to use this on a pasta dish or a salad, something that isn't going to go back on the heat, olive oil is very particular about heat. Or just pour it on a plate and add some lovely Italian seasonings and sop it up with a nice French baguette.

![]() So, FYI I would recommend that you use Canola oil as opposed to Olive oil, not only for the price but the smoke point of the oil as well (the rate at which the oil breaks down- once broken down it will give off flavours or even worse; burned taste). Unless you're using extra-light Olive or pomace Olive oil (in which case teh smoke point is just about equal to that of Canola oil, slightly lower still). The Canola oil with the highest smoke point is "high oleic"... This works well tho.

damn i gotta try this

How long did it take the smell to go away when you all did it? I'll have a fan on above the stove also, so that should help. I'd like to do it at night when my parents are asleep but not if it lasts too long.
Also, if you grind the weed into powder and boil it, is the end product a slushy green oil or do you filter the oil out? |

Agreed here that oil is one of the better mediums for good ole bud cookin. really all you have to do is take any recipie you have and pro-cook the amount of bud oil you need before hand. my favorite combo so far is a nice thick fudgy brownie mix combined with 5 grams of bud grinded up and cooked in simmer oil for about 20 min. tips: -make sure that the oil isnt boiling and the bud isnt touching the side of the pan your using to cook it in. you dont want the thc to burn out only to convert to a fat soluble form that light heat instigates. -start small with how much bud you put in and moderate how much brownie / culinary treat you eat. i ate have of my brownies once because i got really stoned and got the munchies then had a panic attack about 2 hours later when those brownies kicked my ass. -pour more oil in the pan then you need for the recepie. your gonna lose some of it to evaporation and you want to make sure there are enough oil molecules for the thc to bind too. |

I wasted 1.5g on this last night. I used 2TBSP of EVOO like the recipe said, but I think I had the burner on too hot. It never once boiled, but there was steam rising from the pot the whole time and the weed turned black.
I stirred it constantly for 10 minutes then poured the oil/weed into a shot glass to cool for another 10. I tried to scoop out as much weed as I could as I didn't have a strainer to use. Some of it floated to the top of the shotglass but a lot remained in the bottom too. I shot the liquid and managed to leave most of the weed in the bottom of the shot glass. The smell wasn't that bad at all. I turned the fan on a sprayed a bit of Oust afterwards. I didn't smell it after that but again I had been smoking prior to that so who knows. After about an hour I seemed to feel kind of high, but after that I didn't feel a thing. I waited another hour before deciding to smoke, at which point I finally got high. I think I burned the THC up. Oh, and it tasted like absolute shit. Like horrible, burnt olive oil. |

when i cook with olive oil i tend to put more then needed so that there is enough for the thc to bind with. (i dont have the equipment nor drive to try and test the ratios needed to be compeltly efficient.)
if your weed turned black it means you burned it. the best results ive gotten was from bringing it to a light simmer and stirring constantly. Also i know most people strain out their bud when cooking but chances are there is still a lot of thc in it that could be absorbed in your body if the nug is coated with oil, so just keep it. also if u have a grinder it really helps to have the buds as grinded as possible. |

I just got my wisdom teeth removed, so I can't smoke. I'm going to try this tomorrow. I will report back to let you all know how it goes. It sounds legit. I'm excited!
UPDATE: I just finished making it; process was easy enough. It actually didn't taste too bad or anything. It went down fairly smooth, just had to chase it with a little soda. Will report back later.

Well, I tried it. Twice. It didn't really work. I think that's my fault, though, because I didn't want to burn it, so I think I had the burner on too low, and it didn't heat it up enough. I decided to make some tea, though, which stoned me for a good 7 hours.

Just did this and consumed the oil with bread 5 minutes ago.
-Used 2 tablespoons exactly of extra virgin olive oil -Set the stove to 2-3 -Ground up a bit over a gram of some dank very fine -Stirred CONSTANTLY for the full cook time I set the timer on the oven for 10 minutes just to see how things were progressing after this suggested time. After 10 minutes was up I noticed that the bud was still green, and I remembered reading that the weed should be turning brown for it to have been cooked long enough. So, I kept cooking and stirring for awhile longer (at least another 10 minutes). I noticed the weed starting to brown, and the VERY MOMENT I caught the slightest hint of a burning/overcooked smell I took the pan off and let everything cool. Wiped the pan clean with two pieces of bread and ate it all; didn't taste too bad! I'll come back and let y'all know how it goes!
