Cooking with hash???
I've cooked with and read a bunch of recipies involving an oil or fat base, but what about cooking with hash? Care to share recipies and experiences with hash?

Cooking with hash is precious <3.
Make sure it isn't some soap bar prior though, that stuff is yicky and probably more dangerous eaten verses smoked. Just remember it's far more potent than the actual bud. Depending on the grade I'd use probably only 1/5th to 1/10th as much hash for a dose(1 gram = .2grams to .1grams hash). It works the same way but I found it to be a much faster cooking process. Cook it in the oil or butter or fatty product on low heat, etc, etc. HOWEVER don't even bother with straining the oil/butter, it's just a little hash...yumm!

Is it nessesary to simmer the hash in butter or oil prior to cooking? I've made some brownies by, making up the batter, and stirring in a teaspoon of grinded up, powderd hash. They turned out realy good! So since that worked out well.... couldn't you just sprinkle a little grinded hash in whatever your making?
