Raman recipe test and results

I have never eaten marijuana before, so this test is a first for me. I followed the Raman noodles recipe with a few modifications. I'll go through everything step by step to help out with others who are considering eating marijuana as well as giving details of what not to do in case the high sucks, lol.

Ingediants -
1 Pack of chicken flavored Raman noodles
1.5g of mids, ground buds, no seeds or stems
2 cups of water
1/2 cup of 2% milk
1 heaping spoonful of butter
1 Dash of basil (as coverup)
1 Dash of oregano (as coverup)

I started boiling the 2 cups of water on moderately high heat. I had a decent size sauce pan so I didn't have to worry about boil over. At first I added the heaping spoonful of butter along with the basil and oregano and slowly stired it until the butter was melted. When the water was foggy and the butter was melted, I added in the marijuana. I stirred this mixture while boiling at med-high heat (8 on my oven) for about 15 minutes.

I was concered about the THC dissolving, so I added about a half cup of milk. This added fat to the mix as well as making up for some of the water that had evaporated. When the mixture started boiling again, I added the pack of noodles.

I stirred the mixture for about another 5 minutes until all the noodles were soft and had separated then turned the heat off. I moved the pot off of the stove and added the chicken flavor packet. While stirring the flavor in, the noodles are absorbing most of the water a milk, and the end result looks a lot like noodles with alfredo sauce all over them. POUR THE ENTIRE MIXTURE into a bowl and start eating. With the noodle absorbing most of the liquid, it shouldn't be too "soupy".

Taste:

I was expecting the butter to be a little over powering, but it really wasn't. The milk really added to the fluffyness of it, but I think the downfall was I added too much basil. I can't taste any cannabis, the chicken flavoring and the basil are fighting for what the most dominant flavor is. All in all, it is probably the best tasting bowl of Raman I have ever had, but for some reason I lost my appetite while cooking so finishing it all off is a little bit of a chore.

I ate everything and licked the bowl clean. It has been about 20 minutes since my first bite, but I don't feel any effects yet. I have a big "fuck clobberin" joint rolled that I will probably wax off later tonight, but I want to see what this food high is like by itself.

I'll report back in later with how the high worked out for me And I also forgot to mention that there was NO marijuana odor while cooking. My stepdad was sitting about 10 feet away from me while I was doing the cooking, and he had no clue that I was doing anything more than cooking. I think I have the basil and oregano to thank for that.

After about an hour from consuming I can feel my arms and legs getting a little heavy but no head high yet. My beard is starting to itch, and that is usually a good sign that I'm getting high, lol.

About an hour and 40 minutes in, I have a really defined body buzz going on but still not so much of a head high. I know this can come down to the weed, but I have been smoking from the same bag i made the noodles with and was expecting a little more.

I started watching trailer park boys but it got boring. Switched to Mythbusters. A much more "thinky" stone. I kind of like it. I can tell that the high is gonna last a lot longer than just smoking because of the "creep" effect.

3 hours later and I'm pretty baked. I've been conciously high for about an hour now. Had the munchies, but everything tasted too dry. Drinkin fluids, watching tv, and goin to bed.

I must say my first experience with eating marijuana is very nice. Lucky for me I bought 4 things of noodles instead of just 1. Might do this for lunch tomorrow so I can be high all afternoon.

What did happen with water? 2 cups of water +1/2 cup of milk - it shold be plenty of liquid for just 1 pack of noodle.
