I always use 3x filtered butane that I get from work, that in turn comes from a culinary company. PVC piping and down the hatch it goes. Always comes out much more translucent than the pics in this thread and pretty much looks like straight up honey.

Bottomline though....if you don't have a hash rig(a la Hops, toro, etc.) your not getting the most out of your oil. In other news, dabbing oil on a regular basis turns me into the worst sort of forgetful, stereotypical movie stoner ever. Seriously, just blasted on oil wandering around town in ratty tie-dye looking for a good sandwich and forgetting any obligations or plans I may have had at some point in time.

That being the case, I have cut back on my oil consumption. No more 3 oil rips outta the rig in the morning. No sir.
