My take on this recipe is to make the cannabutter first (brown butter + weed in a frying pan), then cook the noodles, add the flavor pack, strain, THEN add butter/pot mix. That way your pot has been cooked in oil instead of boiling water.

Hey man don't mean to jack your thread by any means, great recipe, I did something similar with fantastic results that might fix some of the problems in this recipe.

I'm a runner, so during the season I can't blaze up and ruin my lungs. But my friend had some extra headies lyin around and I'm not going to pass those up. So my friend and I diced up, nice and fine, about 1.3 of these headies. We then put a small amount of sesame oil (vegetable oil would work too, just not as yummy) in a pan and put the weed in. Meanwhile we had our Ramen cooking away, this is the crazy good ramen which you strain out the water and add a little oil/spice packet. We took the oil supplied and mixed it with our sesame oil, waited for everything to turn brown, and added to our bowls of noodles. and ENJOYED. No nasty butter taste, just real good noodles. We also didn't have to worry about the water boiling away. In an hour or two I was too high to stand. Neither of us could stop laughing, good ab workout haha. Just my 2 cents. Enjoy.

so the best way isnt to boil the weed? I just bought a half so I want to give cooking a try. I hate wasting weed tho so I'm want to find the most efficient way.

My guess is that you are just trying to conceal the smell, but if it gets too hot then you are wasting your time.
Feel free to try it and get back to us on the outcome.
Actually, it Is possible to boil water in a microwave, I do it for a cup of hot tea in a pinch- just put a bamboo skewer in it. Trouble is, the recipe calls for a simmer- much harder in the microwave. Plus I don't know if I want ti irradiate my party favors, it may decrease efficacy..
