Hey everyone. I'm not really into drugs but I have to take a pre-employment drug test for my job and I have to get a hair test. I have taken adderall to study about 4 times over the past 2 months and have tried pot over a month ago but nothing really happened to me. I take a bunch of prescribed pills cause I have been sick lately as well as other over the counter pills. Should I be worried about not getting the job because of what I've taken before??? Thanks for the help everyone!

Haha, no, not at all. You should be perfectly fine.

Hair tests are tests to test smoke particles in your hair. not for over the counter meds like aderol. And besides, it's been a month since you smoked ONCE*. Give me a break, you'll do completely fine.

* the first time almost everyone smokes they don't feel shit, just a little giggly and jumpy. Around the second or third time, you'll trip balls. Just so you know.

Thanks for the replies guys! The last time I tried smoking was over a month ago but there were times before that too. My only thing is I've never been high, I guess I just don't know how to do it. Also are there any other shampoos anyone could recommend because I've heard mixed reviews about certain shampoos.

Thank you for replying!! I purchased Toxin Wash already...From what I have read, It seemed the most promising out of all of the shampoo's, but I may still purchase zydot. I have been using different shampoo's that have been recommended to me from different message boards and friends. I have also done the Maccjuco (SP) thing a couple times and will continue till the test. I hope this and the info you just gave me and the fact I have barely used any drugs will help me pass!! THANKS again!! (If you have any info about toxin wash let me know....)

You will be just fine. I would emphasize that since you have long hair to make sure you saturate your hair (right before you go to take test) with conditioner-the more the better-and do not wash it out; just let it air dry. This in my opinion is key.

You can also ask Darkangel about this process as he just took a hair test via psyhmedics corp and used the info posted in the link above and he passed no issues at all. And if you do choose to follow the steps in the thread above would you post your results whether you passed or failed? There are some people here, particularly the person who was the first to reply to your thread (MarleySubs) who have been trying to discredit that method. It is my assumption that they may work for psyhmedics and don't want this info out as it threatens their credibility as a company claiming to be 100% effective (though everyone who has followed it has passed no matter how much they used prior to the test).

You will be fine; but I would like to correct something that was said in this thread prior. They do test for amphedimines (Adderal; Ritilin, etc). Cocaine and amphedimines in particular produce more drug metobolites in your hair than any other drug and therefore heavy users of these drugs have a harder time in passing if they do nothing to prepare for the test. But you should have no problems b/c when I took my hair test I was using amphedimines heavily, even right up before I took the test.

By using the shampoo, whatever kind you think will work, using the mixture shampoo listed in the thread posted above as well as leaving the conditioner in will all ensure that the drug metabolites in your hair are stripped clean. The conditioner in your hair will corrupt the test if all esle fails.

I know the worries you are going through as I have been there so try and stay calm. You will do just fine. Report back and let us know how you did ok? Take care and sleep good cux there is nothing to worry about

!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT BUY TOXIN WASH!!!!!!!


This stuff does not work!!! I paid about $115 for it (including overnight shipping) and I followed the instructions perfectly!!! I NEVER do drugs. I smoke weed maybe once every 6 months. I went out for my birthday and drank way too much. A friend of a friend offered me a tiny "sniff" of coke to "sober me up" so I wasnt making a fool of my self. Then 3 months later I had to take a hair folicle drug test for a child custody hearing with one of my sons father. (I have 2 sons - each has a differant dad). Needless to say I freaked out and bought Toxin Wash. I failed my hair folice test! Now My son is being taken away from me and I have to go to court next week with my younger sons father because now that I failed the test, he is going to take my other son from me. I have worked the same job for over 5 years, in the medical field. I have a college degree, no criminal record and I compete in fitness competitions regularly and spend alot of time at the gym and participating in sports with my children. I was really counting on Toxin Wash to save my reputation and erase this one bad choice I made on my birthday. BUT IT DID NOT WORK! NOW I HAVE LOST BOTH MY CHILDREN. And to top it off, I just found out I am pregnant and the courts may involve the Dept. of Children and Familes with my new baby, with whom the father I am engaged to and have been with for 3 years.
