Hello,

I've read that the detection period of a hair test is 90 days.

I am a heavy smoker (smoke every day half a joint)..

Haven't smoked in 22 days.

My question is, do I have to wait more than 90 days to have a clean result in a hair test?

They need 1.5 inches of hair to date back 90 days. This, of course, is only your hair on your head. If they were to take the hair from another part of your body, (i.e. pubic hair, armpits, etc) lets say if you were completely bald, they could trace back almost 3-4 months on just 1.5 inches of hair.
