I just received an email saying the company I could potentially be working for will be sending a drug screen packet. If its anything other than a hair test I am good to go. But my question is, if it is a hair test, couldn't I just use someone else's hair? Does anyone know if they run DNA checks or something along those lines to make sure its your hair? Do they get your DNA from the hair and then test it against yours when you go in to work? Any information would be appreciated.

Lol, I think you may be worrying a bit too much.

It'll likely just either be a toothbrush looking instrument you put in your mouth, or a jar you urinate in, so don't worry.

If it is a hair sample-than anyone with hair slightly resembling yours will work.

Unless you have already supplied them with a sample of DNA, then they won't have anything to use as a control, now will they?

Seriously. You'll be fine. Mail-in-urinealysis happens all the time- even in the at home tests you can buy in walgreens.

So I have good reason to believe they will be sending both a urine test, as well as a hair test. Me overthinking things as usual do you think they will compare the hair and urine samples and see that they are different DNA?

No, a DNA test would be too expensive.

Yup...a DNA test is utterly expensive; you can put that assumption to rest. I think you should be ok.
