Hi - I'm new to this board and have found a wealth of great and useful information. Thanks for this.

The main problem I have is - I found out the test is coming - and it's being done at our company, on-site. The issue is that it's being done over a 3-day period - June 16, 17 and 18th - and I have no idea which of those days I'll get called on to perform.

I'm pretty much aware that simply abstaining isn't going to be enough with a little less than 2 weeks before the testing dates. I'm 235#, been smoking chronically for 15+ years. Hardly a day goes by I don't smoke. A friend of mine gave me some Sonne's #7 and told me to use a teaspoon for every 50lbs with a bottle of water in the morning, then the same at night without the water for 3 days and remain abstinent and I'll be fine. I cannot lose this job, so naturally I'm looking at all options.

I see a lot of folks referring to the Quick Fix 4.0 solution... but, is this a good solution if my test could fall anywhere in a 3-day period? I'm also willing to purchase the Whizzinator if that is a good way to go also. I can't buy the urinator because I live in one of the states they refuse to ship to.

Point blank - I'm scared. I'm 37 with a good job. Our company is being bought by a much larger company whose policy it is to drug test everyone. Been with the company almost 2 years - but I have to go through the test and a full background check as if I was a schlep off the street.

Any advice on using synthetics or other methods with this short of a timeframe would be appreciated. Again, the huge concern is that most of the test-busting methods I've seen here all assume the person being tested will know the exact date and time of their test.

Thanks in advance for any advice for this scared individual with lots to lose. I fully realize I'm responsible for my actions and if I hadn't been smoking pot all these years I'd have nothing to worry about - but here we are.

Each time I've checked this board there are no less than 10 viewing the "drug testing" board but in 24 hours, several posts, including mine never even received a VIEW, let alone a reply.

You don't need the Whizzinator unless your test requires an observer to actually witness you urinating into the specimen cup. The Whizzinator is not an ideal solution if you need to wait around for three days to take the test. With the Whizzinator, you would need to clean it out and refill it with fresh synthetic each morning until you finally take the test. Additionally, the device is bulky. It does not fit neatly and comfortably under all types of trousers. You will need loose fitting trousers. You will also need to practice with the device to make sure you know what you're doing when the moment of truth comes. The device is designed for those who must be observed but also those who know the date and time of their test and can just get it done and over with.

A potentially better solution for you is, the Number 1 device, offered by the same company that offers the Whizzinator (gonumber1.com). It is a one-time use device only, so there is no need to clean and refill. It is not terribly bulky and can be worn comfortably for long periods of time, although loose fitting trousers are still recommended. It is also easy to use. Check it out and you will see what I mean.

I checked out that gonumberone product - that looks pretty damn slick, I must admit.

I know that the local shop carries the whizzinator, which is the only reason I was leaning towards it. Don't want to pay the shipping and worry that it might not get here in time, and I'm in a hurry to get my hands on it and start practicing ASAP. I'm gonna call in the morning and see if they carry the other one. If they do I'll likely go with that one, as I agree that it is much smaller and more suited to my needs (not to mention $100 cheaper).

We were told today that it's actually gonna be the whole week of the 16th and we'll be taken back in groups of 20. There are only 18 in my department so we'll all go the same day and we were told that as the date approaches we'll be given a more exact date so with both products coming with enough for two tests - and more synthetic available at the shop, I'm finally starting to feel pretty confident I'm gonna walk away from this unscathed. I CAN NOT lose this job. Once secure and this mess is over, I can use it again to find employment elsewhere without having to worry *AND* be jonesing at the same time.

To the originator of this post (imskeered) status report please. How did you finally resolve your dilemma?

I took my test yesterday. I had purchased the 4oz bottle of Ultra Pure (Quick Fix 4.0).. I had the bottle crotched hard and no one stood over my shoulder watching. There is an outside door to the bathroom, then an inside door. She stood in the little hallway between the two doors and waited for me to come out. She asked me to fill the cup to the 30ML line, which I did with my bottle of Ultra Pure. I still have a little over half the bottle left.

She checked the little box that said "between 90-100F" and taped up everything and bagged it in my presence. Now it gets sent off to the labs for testing and as long as everything is cool I'll not hear back. If something is awry they'll call me to possibly re-test - So much stress my stomach has been ill for days. At least this part is over with good results so far.

Thanks for the follow up. You'll be fine. And now you have a strategy for future tests if the need arises, which hopefully it will not.

The whole notion of these tests, 'guilty until proven innocent' angers me intensely. Honesty is indeed a virtue but there are always exceptions and fishing expedition drug testing rates right at the top! (My .02)

If you drinks some what water take some niacin makes you sweat go for a job then drink energry drinks or beer then you will be def cleani have passed a pee test 3 days later i have heard of people ppassing that are 160 pounds and passing 3 days later

Well, I just didn't feel safe enough using my own urine so I went synthetic. I took my test 9 days ago, and I went through my orientation classes Monday and yesterday.

They've already let a bunch know that they failed and a bunch more had to be re-tested due to dilution. I'm good as gold! Thanks Ultra Pure!!
