Pre-employment drug testing question, Please answer

so heres my question, can a company drug test you (i live in NC) if they dont say anything on the application about it? all that was written on my application was not to do them not that they test. if anyone knows please reply, would the chances be slim to none? ive gotten the job, just need to fill out paperwork, thanks

I don't know, but I will bump your thread.

My guess would be if they ask you not to do them (besides saying specifically not doing them at work), that they may well test you.

Its bullshit, I know.

I think you can refuse but then you'd get canned.Private companies can do pretty much what they want.The whole of N.A. has lost it's mind on the drug issue.Rights just don't seem to come into the picture.Therer are a lot of different things you can purge with depending on your drug of choice and the time limit.There are also a lot of different ways to beat tests.Check your local head shop(are they still called that ?)or health store.There are a lot of things on line as well.You can find links at drugsense and stopthedrugwar both .org.

they probably don't, most companies don't want to waste time with somebody so they say that they drug test.
