Plasma and Blood Drug test question

The other day I hurt my back just loading some tools in the truck. It was like I had a muscle spasm. Now if I move my back in certain positions it hurts. i work construction and accidents happen all the time. Now I haven't smoked in a 6wks and I really don't have alot of fat on me and I have a high metabolism. If I tell my boss I need to get checked out by a doctor I will have to take a urine, blood, or plasma drug screen. I know I will pass a urine test but what happens if it is a blood or plasma test? Please educate me about these other test.

Blood and Plasma and Saliva testing is more indicative of impairment. Urine and hair testing is for past use.

It sounds like urine is what you need to be most concerned with, but 6 weeks should be plenty of time.

Either way, I'd get the back checked out because its not a part of the body you want to mess up.
