So about 3 weeks ago I had to take a drug test for a job. I purchased the Stinger brand 5x strength detox drink. The day before I took the drink I had my hair dyed at a Salon, red. Please note that I've been dying the front (very very large chunk) and the underside of my hair (lowlites) red for quite some time, around 2 years. Well I read on the bottle it would allow you to pass a hair test as well, which I didn't believe becuase everything I've read online says that most of those, even the shampoos do not work. My test was a saliva one and I passed (even after throwing up some of it, which worried me but that stuff rocks for passing as far as I'm concerned!) so everything was fine on that front. Well I noticed that my hair has been falling out and breaking! Not like huge chunks, but my brush is filled up very quickly and I keep having strands fall on my shirt all day, etc. I was thinking it could be the dye, however reds and browns actually usuallly condition your hair since it's not a bleach, it coats it. I started thinking about the drink and wondering if since it was meant to work on hair as well if this could be a side effect of the drink. Since I dyed my hair the day before the drink I'm not sure if that's just part of it, but like I said I've been dying half of it for a while, this is the first time I went ALL red though, my new job required one hair color. Maybe its a combo of both?! Anyway, if anyone else has used this and have or have not had this experience I'd appreciate you share. I am female if you couldn't tell arlready, I'm sure this probably wouldn't be quite as noticible on a guy with short hair... Thanks all!
