Ok so I have read all I think I can about drug testing and diluting ect but I do still have a question. I have read that Marajuana is stored in your fat cells. I have been a regular smoker for 15 years. 3-4 hits a night. I have been alerted to a test for a potential job. It was supposed to be today ( found out yesterday). I did not smoke last night. Since the practitioner was not in to conduct the regular physical, it has been posponed til tomorrow. I went out and got a home test and it came up with a faint line ( indicating negative, I think) but it was so faint I can't tell. I am drinking my water ( gatorade too, yes I can read) but does the fact that I have been smoking almost half my life make a difference when it comes to the steps I should take for the test? I just can't tell if the home one I took was truly negative. Are there additions steps I should take due to the longevity of my smoking. ( because of physical beforehand , I can't use fake pee, no where to hide it. I have never been tested before and I am very nervous.

Be nervous. You smoke weed. Your body has it to show. If you smoked for 2 days or 40 years it is the one you smoked last night that will show. Good Luck

Unless you're a fat lazy bastard-30 days, whether you're habit or heavy. 5-7 for single use. And no smoking for 15 years makes no difference it may actually help, (because your body is so used to it it may metabolize it faster than some one who isn't a heavy user due to tolerance.) But this is all speculative. Hope this helps. But, 30 days at least OF NONE.

Yeah, 30 days of NO doobage is the norm. When my nephew was paroled from Leavenworth [the military section...he got popped while in the Army for selling a narc 2 quarters...got 2 yrs] after serving 15 months, he'd have to see his parole officer once a month. But the dude would normally tell him when he'd be getting piss-tested a month prior.
If he was going to be tested the next visit, the dude would warn him in advance. 1 month he didn't smoke any weed & stopped by my house the night before his appointment. I had some killer Super Silver Haze. He took 2 tokes from the bong & the next day, his P.O. pulled a surprise piss-test on him.
It came back positive just from the 2 tokes & he had to go back to prison for the remaining 9 months. Can you believe that shit? The guy had to finish his entire 2 yrs because of 2 tokes of weed.
Be careful...weed stays with you for awhile....
