Well, guess I'm outta commission for who knows how long

Sorry turds started random at my job, took 2 vans of 5 people in each the first day.

I've already been lookin' for a job, but they are slow comin' in my neck of the woods....

It should be illegal to drug test, unless they can prove you were usin' on the job! What I do in my own home ain't none of their damn business!!

It's ironic that most of the low skill, low pay, low responsibility jobs I had before I graduated from college tested my pee.

Ever since I was hired into positions of true responsibility, I haven't had to submit to a single drug test.

well, not that I know of, but I do believe if you refuse, they take that as a definitely guilty and your out the door anyway.

Actually, once before they had mentioned they might start drug testing, but they said, only the people in the warehouse, not up front....now is that discrimination or what?

DOOD I so feel ya on drug testing!! I've been clean since 4-21 I think.. Sucks but I know its worth it for time being. I'm in an office with "road view" taking request for chargers and such. Not a job but maybe a career.. Worth it in my book.. Best of luck to ya!!!

Did you sign a contract that states you agree to be tested? If not then they can't test you and can't fire you. see a lawyer.

Actually we do, working now. They come out with a new company policy manual every few years, we got one this year. And it states they have a drug testing program, and you have to sign a copy and give it back to HR.

I've lived in plenty of third world dictatorships and dodgy governments. I live now in a military democracy where 1/4 of the people are in uniform and 1/3 work for the government.
Yet I have never had my or seen anyone else have their rights so infringed.

How can you live in a place where you are so repressed? Why do they do it? Why can't you take drugs on your own time and still go to work? I agree that you shouldn't take drugs whilst your actually at work (well I can understand bosses not being happy about that). But what you do to yourself in your own free time , well thats just private.

Unless you have a DOT job or hold a CDL, drug testing is completely voluntary, but so is employing you.

What they don't tell you is that it is their insurance company that requires a drug test in order to provide workmans comp. coverage at a realistic rate.

See it's InsureCorps allegations that you are a worthless piece of shit drug addled low life out the gate and if you want to be employed by anyone they deal with you have to prove yourself innocent since they know you're guilty unless you say otherwise and since we are all wage slaves who need money to pay off our credit cards and mortgage payments and car notes, you're fine with bending over backwards to show how squeaky clean an employee you can be by letting them crawl into your bodily fluids to get a job.

How fucking wrong is that.

Thank goodness everyones credit is in the shitter to some degree, you'll notice credit checks for employment have gone out the window for the most part.

And where are you they round you up in a van and take you to a lab to pee in a cup? I wanna see that van drivers track record before I jump in for that ride, where's his cup of piss?!

Last I checked, even after an accident I have up to three hours to get myself to the testing lab unless like I mentioned DOT or CDL is involved.
