Test in about a week

Im 5'10 145lbs, not much fat or muscle on me. Been a pretty heavy smoker the past year. I quit smoking 2 days ago as soon as i found out i may be tested ( still not sure ) just prepairing. Ive started this intense cardio workout that leaves me drenched in sweat and almost puking when done. Switched to a extremly high fiber diet, and started taking metimucial daily. Im gonna drown my self in beer this weekend.

If i do have to be tested im gonna try and stall a week as i will have to move accross the country for this position.

Also does an employer have to tell you the company will require a piss test? If the dont mention it should i assume Im in the clear?

Thank u

if they dont mention it usually that just means you are not applying for a debt slave job. they could still hoodwink you with one so plan for the best prepare for the worst.

as for the exercise it depends, i hope you were working out before this week cuz you may have just released a bunch out of the little bit of fat on you which could now cause a fail. on the other hand maybe it was good that you worked out and are now expelling what was in your reserves.

exercise is a very tricky thing to try and factor in depending on the scenario- when i first posted here and had others hash out my situation and my best course of action (at the time i was noob) the consensus seemed to be to keep your exercise habits consistent. so keep them as they were for the month previous.

like i said not sure what is going to end up better for you just note that you should think about your exercise habits and the effect that changing them has so close to the test date.

hope that helps a little.

If you were a heavy THC user until 9 days before the test, you will probably fail. Your best bet would be substitution.

Employers usually will either tell you of drug testing requirements or you will see a statement like: “Drug Free Workplace” during the application process.
