testing for tobacco?

Never saw this before... It was on a job application website. Lookout cigarette smokers! ya'll are next!

"Any offer of employment for this position will be contingent upon candidate passing a post-offer, pre-employment drug & nicotine screen and satisfactory background investigation. The drug test will include a screen for cotinine (a nicotine metabolite). If you currently use any tobacco product, or if you are engaged in a tobacco cessation program, you must be completely free of the use of any nicotine-containing products in order to pass the nicotine screen."

Drug testing to get a job doesn't exist where I live.

yea, probably because of company paid health care ignorance.

next will be no pregnancies, diabetics, high blood preasure, (old age is already a disqualifier), perhaps even balding/ingrown toenails..

Mandatory health insurance (for all employees) is disgusting. Better to get hired and denied insurance than not get a job at all.

I wouldn't want to hire a (pregnant) woman for obvious reasons though.

I hate America.

yes.

Besides that, some money hungry insurance company will always pick you up for ridiculous premiums and limited coverage.
