In my cleansing period i used the following methods:

Once i knew i had to take the test, i was already clean like 1 week. Since i was on vacation overseas ... I did my research and was on the quest to find Salicylic Acid and Propylene glycol.

To my surprise the Shampoo and Hair gel i have been using while on vacation had the Propylene Glycol in it. that was a slight relief.

I also got my hands on a Coal Tar shampoo with 2% Salicylic acid. Which i used every other day and used the Garnier fruitis shampoo with the P.G everyday. Also, my Garnier Hard Gel that contained P.G.

I Bleached / re-dyed my hair once on Monday of the test week., then used the same treatmets above.

On test day i Used Ldvisa's method. With the VO5, Clorox bleach, and Peroxide. then finished it with the Zydot intense hair cleanse shampoo. After following directions to a T i added some Tressemme Conditioner that i left in and Air dryed my hair.. then put on a glob of my Fav. Hair gel with P.G

and went of to the testing site. .the nurse tried to convince me to give hair frm my Pits. And i was like no thanks. .i dont have any hair there. .

So, its monday. .iam waiting to get the results by the end of this week. Hope everything works out ..So i can start my Dream Job! ..

Also, my hair is only about 1.5 inches long right now, and like I said I haven't smoked for a month. Should I be entirely hopeless or is there a chance?

Here is the exact method I followed the day of the test:

10AM: soaked my hair in vinegar for 20 minutes followed by scrubbing it with the astringent by Clean and Clear for 5 minutes. this was followed by washing my hair with tide for another 5 minutes. Washed it all off with Aloe Rid gentle clarifying Shampoo followed by the deep clarifying solution.

Noon: Began the method mentioned in this thread. Mixed bleach with hydrogen peroxide and an aloe shampoo. Did three 5 minute sessions, one immediately after the other. After that was done I used a single stage detox shampoo called "clean Screen". I purchased it from 1stopdetox.com Immediately after that I used a two stage detox shampoo that i purchased from testclear.com called "clear Choice". The label on these shampoos tell you not to use any other hair care products after their use. They tell you to not even blow dry your hair. Despite their recommendation I then applied some condition that I did not wash out. As soon as my hair was dry, I headed to the testing facility.

After stumbling across YA HOOKA and reading everything thread that was available on hair tests I had no other options but to give every single one of the suggestions a try. I will now use a chronological time line to exemplify the procedures utilized.
May 8th-Used the Macujo method twice, shampooed with T-Gel and T-Sal.
May 9th-Used the Macujo method once, Bleach/Peroxide/Aloe Mixture once, shampooed with T-Gel, T-Sal, and Aloe Rid.
May 10th-Used the Macujo method once, had my hair professionally stripped (20% Peroxide/20% Bleach Solution) and Colored with a 20% Solution.
May 11th-Used the Macujo method once, used a detoxifying shampoo(STAT)
as directed on the package.
May 12th-Day of the Test-Used the detoxifying shampoo as directed again, then went back to my professional hair stylist because my hair was completely blond and she was going to put color back in (I let her in on what I was trying to do on the 17th) we used another 10% Peroxide solution to color back to my original color. Left the Salon at 12 PM took the test at 2:30 PM.
May 16th-Got the results back from the potential employer. All Negative. Will start on Monday.
I am not sure which method was the most important but I am all but convinced that you must get your hair completely stripped and recolored to get rid of all of the metabolites in your hair. The hair is made of 3 parts cuticle, medulla, and cortex. Some people with thin light colored hair do not have a medulla. The cuticle is the outer layer and the cortex is the inner layer that the melanin(hair color) resides. That is also where the drug metabolites collect and remain in the hair. So stripping that color out also strips everything else out with it. I sure hope that this will help anyone else out that is facing the dreaded hair sample drug test.

Aprroximately after about 6 weeks that I was off I got a call from my employer saying that I need to go see a doctor of their choosing for a physical.
I've worked for this company for 10 years.
I was instantly worried and called a friend of mine who also works there and was informed by him that this would mean a hair test.
I had been smoking up until this time, Thursday. My appointment was schuduled for 5 days later, in the morning, Tuesday.

2 Monday Night--(around 9:00 PM) mixed up the ingredients for the shampoo and followed Idavisa's instructions per the original post on this thread--( I couldn't find the exact shampoo as Idavisa, but I made sure it had aloe-vera in it)
3 Shaved my body down to about 1/8 - 1/4 inch (this never came into play, they took my head hair no questions asked)
4 About 4 hours before the test I used a drug shampoo I got locally called test Pure, anyways, also not the same as Idavisa but it was better than risking it.
---It's been 3 weeks now, no phone call telling me I didn't pass so I know I made it. The only reason I wrote this is because I want to sincerely exprees my thanks to Idavisa for posting this and to tell you guys that there is a chance of getting by this.

My test was done by Psychemedics
I was a pretty heavy smoker up until the 5 days before the test
I also left the conditioner in my hair when i went and did the test, and something I noted was that the person who took my hair put on thin rubber gloves so she couldn't really tell what my hair felt like anyway

Starting using Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo daily about 3 weeks before the test.
Thursday 11/20 - Two weeks before the test - bought a stripper at a local hair supply place and used it - didn't do anything to the color of my hair. Also, shaved ALL my body hair down to about an 8th of an inch so they couldn't use it, but also as to not let it look suspicious.
Sunday 11/30 - MacCuj0 method twice
Monday 12/1 - MacCuj0 method once and the ldavisa method once. Substituted the Nexxus Aloe Rid instead of the shampoo called for cuz I couldn't find ANY Aloe shampoo - 3 different stores.
Tuesday 12/2 - MacCuj0 method once, then dyed my hair and stripped it back out. The stripper seriously turned my hair BRIGHT ass strawberry blonde, after which I dyed it back normal color. This is when I noticed the burns starting on the back of my neck. They weren't HORRIBLE, but they stung, I'm not gonna lie.
Wednesday 12/3 - MacCuj0method once, then did the ldavisa method one more time. My hair felt dry, dry...kinda like a manaquins hair would feel I'd guess lol. Definitely burned the burns from the day before - but I really wanted to pass this test!! My suggestion would be to use vaseline in the areas around the edges of your hair, but it's really messy - completely up to you!
Thursday 12/4 - Day of the test - I did the Zydot Ultra Clean shampoo thing, dried my hair with a towel and then used some spray in/leave in conditioner. The burns were semi-noticeable but nothing was mentioned at all.

Took my test at 11:30 that morning - they took it from 6 different spots on my head. The test was a Quest Diagnostics 5 panel test.

I sweated it until this afternoon (12/15) when I finally got my call. I kinda half way figured I'd passed because I was sure if I'd failed they would have notified me already, but I wanted to wait to post this until I was positive. I'm not sure which of these methods was the exact cure to my problem - but one of em or a combination of all of em fixed me up right!

I do sincerely hope what I have posted here will help someone in the future and I sincerely thank ALL the people who have posted all their information. When I first found out about the test, everyone was telling me it wasn't possible for me to pass and that they wouldn't even attempt it. But, I had to try! And by God, it worked!!

I have since quit smoking altogether because it's really not worth it. I'm gonna miss it, but I'd rather be employed!

oh and ps....when you're doing the ldavisa method - don't mix the bleach directly with the peroxide cuz it turns to salt. Mix either the bleach OR the peroxide with the shampoo first and then mix in the other liquid. Get it on your hair quickly. You will notice it's warm - chemical reaction, no worries.

I incresed the formula and never felt any buring sensation. I left it on for 10 minutes and did 4 treatments. I mixed each treatment seperately and tried to get it on the hair quickly. Do whatever you have time for.

6. Testing facilities charge anywhere between $80 and $175 for a hair test and so shop around. Different labs have different cutoff levels. One was 300 pg and the other was 500 pg.

7. Don't worry so much about the specific ingredients and method, as long as you are close. Just WASH, WASH, WASH. Do it as much as you can. It is time consuming and tedious, but it does work.

8. If you are a guy you definately have an advantage keeping you hair short. Some drug metabolites are easier to remove than others and some hair is easier to wash than others. I have been told that cocaine metabolites are the hardest to remove and that african american hair is the hardest to remove it from.


That's all I have to report today. I'll write back with more specifics as soon as I can. Gotta go!

I made sure mine was exactly an inch, but i overheard them saying something like "ohh we only need about a half-an-inch.." maybe it's just the place i went to? but i feel like an EXTRA half an inch could save you in a rut.

Friday: Hair had orange spots (orangutan island styles) so I dyed it one more time black. In the future I recommend just having a professional do it my scalp was jacked for 2 weeks after this (but it was worth it). Prepped with T-Gel (Coal Tar Shampoo). Applied the Ada and macujo hybrid method 3 times
Saturday: Prepped with T-Gel (Coal Tar Shampoo). Applied the Ada and macujo hybrid method 4 times
Sunday: Prepped with T-Gel (Coal Tar Shampoo). Applied the Ada and macujo hybrid method 4 times
Monday: Prepped with T-Gel (Coal Tar Shampoo). Applied the Ada and macujo hybrid method 3 times

2 weeks passed until I got an email confirmation that I had passed pre-employment screening. My hair is jacked and I had a scab on my scalp and serious dandruff but in the end it was worth it. I have been using the T-Gel and Aloe Shampoo to help my poor scalp recover.

I do believe, with utmost certainty that if done correctly, this method has a very, very high success rate. I have used it twice and passed both times; both times having used weed, amphetimines, xanax, opiates and cocaine (not all once...lol, but over the course of 2-4 months prior to testing). I am convinced that this will work no matter the drug(s) you have used prior to testing as the method strips your hair folicles completely, removing any and all toxins that would otherwise lead to a positive testing.

I have a pre-employment screening tomorrow plus physical so not sure if it's urine or hair, but i had a friend call up there and they have 2 types of hair tests and 1 urine test. I've done the macujo method 4 times in the past 4 days and i did the Idavisa method with pantene nature fusion w/ aloe and i added a little aloe vera gel to it just in case. I'm strictly an herbal person and been clean of everything for about 10 days, passed a home urine test today so I think i'm clear for now. I plan on doing the Idavisa method one more time before I go in tomorrow and also using zydot shampoo. I'll post results when they come in.
