What makes you, as a grower, want to keep a plant around?

I kept a plant for a year or better cause I liked how it looked in flower.

One I have just in case I get the taste for it again.
One that knocks me on my ass.
One that makes me want to do something and relaxes me at the same time.

OK, cause I liked how it looked in flower is maybe lame, but it took a womnderful picture

An outdoor grow takes ages, I like a strain that is pretty, makes me want to visit the site more often. It dont keep mum's (tho I'd love to).
I like plants that are single cola dominant so I can fit more in /sq m.

thats true^

outdoor grows take time and effort.

i like plants that are good yeilders, look good during flowering and smoke even better.

relaxing buzz that uplifts and gives a positive feeling

only plant i ever kept as a mother was this 8 ft trinity that i still have.... me and her are going on 2 years now. i kept her around because she was the tastiest stinkiest most wonderful looking herb ive ever had..... but sad to say times comming up for her.

....(moment of silence)....
