I just smoked some Lil Karma, off the original plant
It was harvested May 16, 2005 making it 15 1/2 months old I think LOL

Anyone else been saving weed for the longish term?

By the way, 3 hits and I was swhacked

i try and go from one harvest to the next so i keep buds over the year.
So far so good, if there is anything left it tends to be more than smokable.
And i don't do anything special just dry, cure and store in glass jars.
Some of the plants hang covered upside down in my attic through the year and they are also fine.

I too try and make it from one grow to the next, so three months is the most. I do notice that the smoke is easier, smoother. 15 months.... ah no, I would have definetly consumed it by now!

I save a choice nug from every good bag I happen to pick up. Ages of the 13 different nugs range from 13 months to this week, yet a good bulk of them are from Bonnaroo this year.

Nopers, she was sensi. Those lil things are tight lil clumps of nugs.
I haven't grown any of her progeny to the same size as the original, but I always get a nice yield of dense, potent bud.

The chemical make up of your "stashed" never changed correct.
And the change in "effect" is due to your human change.

Your body changes all day every day and your reaction to things is also changed. *for examp. one day a cup of black coffee taste great, and the next day you might want milk.* "thus due to your bodys make up that day and change". The same holds true when you smoke. The same bud might be better one day from the next, or in your case 15 weeks later. I too enjoy storage. I seal in glass jars and place in a cool dark place away from enviornmental change. *meds come in a dark bottle for a reason*
