New grow space
We just set our cab up in a crawl space under my friends house. Its almost as cold as outside down there. i think when the lights are on in the cab it wont matter but in the dark period the temperatures will drop dramatically. whats the coldest temp maryjane can handle? Does any one have any advice as to what i should do? Its a small cab and i cannot fit a heater inside with the plant.
I know u pepes here at yahooka got good and krazy ideas when it comes to growing. help me out.

Theres no floor down there just black plastic over the dirt. and its only like 2.5 feet tall. I think should i put a heater on a timer opposite of my lights so it turns on at the dark period. but i can't connect it to the cab and the crawl space goes under most of the house.

I got a little ceramic heater from home depot for ~15$ It's got a built in timer that, once set to a certian temp, will turn on and off to regulate the temp in the cab. The only drawback to these heaters, is that they drain the air of moisture and don't proivde co2 like a propane heater could.
Why can't you put it in the cab? Does your cab have passive air intake? If so, just locate the heater next to that. `TeamTHC |

The cab is only like 25''Hx15''Wx12''D the heater couldnt fit inside and if it were blowing into the intake then wouldnt it still be reading cold temps outside the cab therefore it would keep blowing making the cab way too hot?

ZooMed Ceramic Heat Emitters
When used as directed, this heat emitter can increase the inside air temperature of your terrarium a full 10-20 degrees above the outside room temperature. This is especially important when keeping high-temperature, tropical-type reptiles like green iguanas, monitor lizards, boas, pythons and other desert or tropical species. http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...N=2030050&Ne=2

Lowest temp I've encountered and without damage is around 15 celcius.
For those pics, they must not exceed 100 kb's. I'll give the steps on how to upload, k? Take pic Plug cam into USB cable I use Fireworks to brighten and downsize the file. Free to download directly from Macromedia. (I'll give you the serial if you want and you can turn the trial into full ver) As you type your reply you'll notice if you slide down, just under Submit Reply that there is a box called, "Additional Options". And in that box is a button called, "Manage Attachments". I hope this is what you are looking for, cause I'm gonna feel pretty tupid. I'll continue just in case I'm on to something.......... Once you push that button, (Manage Attachments) a new window will open and a Browse button will appear. That's where you search your PC or Cam for the shot you want to upload. If the file size exceeds 100 kb's, you'll have to resize again to 100. ~I'll get the potcorn.....someone get the lights~

Download that image to the desktop~
Then do as I mentioned. Once upload complete, delete pic from desktop and empty garbage can~~ You can delete the history as well~ Right click on Internet Explorer and click on properties~ a window will open~In that box you will see a button saying,"Delete Cookies". Press on it and wait~Then the next button beside Delete Cookies is a button called,"Delete Files". Press on it. It could take up to 30 seconds to delete temp files. Flush the DNS too - Start -> Run -> type cmd - in command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns - Done! You Window DNS cache has just been flush. That should solve that little issue and that should cover your tracks. Unless of course there's a technicien in the house.
