aerogrow?
http://www.aerogrow.com/
Anyone have any experience with these? I was thinking it would be good for a pc/micro grow... automated nutrient/vapor control... I find aeroponics very interesting

aero systems are really simple to build, actually.
it is keeping the sprayers unclogged & container watertight that are really the only significant concerns. buy a nice solid rubbermaid, subpump, some PVC, and a bunch of extra sprayers and you're set.

I would be putting a couple different strains in it, and vegging for only about 2-3 weeks, then throwing it to 12/12...just for sample buds until my real crop rolls in...

spend $150 on this thing? honestly, i'd build anyone something comparable for 1/3 of that price.
you could put together an adaptable version that can be sized exactly to your needs, and rebuilt/resized in the future for a couple of dollars [since the pump is the only thing that costs more than $5] we're not talking major construction.. this would be putting pieces together like legos. and run clones if you want microplants.. don't depend on a weak mutant strain from seed. just basic suggestions..

ive read that its simple as hell to grow and a lot better than lr#1 and yea id be willing to pay up to 150$$ for this, because its worth the convenience to me. I'm open to the 1/3 deal though..lol. I just think it'd be too much trouble to make something like this with the exact same features. Im trying as much as i can to make it something i can start, and open it up 2 months later to a bunch of buds.

i don't know which seedbank or anything that you're talking about.. most lowryder* strains will vary,
*imo, the only people who should really be interested in lowryder genetics are those who are trying to squeeze out an outdoor grow under adverse seasonal lighting/temps. and the problem with trying to do a microgrow with any strain at all from seed is that variation that you will see, as well as having to veg more than 1 plant to hopefully guarantee a female.. if clones are not an option [and for most people, they are not] and you are willing to sort bend the rules for the sake of a guaranteed simple harvest, then consider buying a 4pack of feminized seeds. several companies offer 4packs at really reasonable prices.. you can do a 1 or 2 plant micro setup, and have a "guaranteed" harvest in ~70 days with a micro hydro/aero system. if you want, i can definitely draw up more detailed pics & descriptions of lightweight, simple setups that would cost $50-75 plus a bit for shipping

whatever suits ya..
i'd never want to dissuade someone from growing some goodness, but i can't help but be honest, and i do think you'll find that thing totally inadequate for growing & harvesting mj from seed, LR or otherwise. in your best interest.. atleast browse the Microgrow section at ICMAG for an evening and see what you come away thinking. seedbanks have a vested interest in the product they are selling, and you may find their descriptions don't always match up with real world results.
