Exclamation Spider problems

Hey I have a growing problem that if I remember correctly started as soon as my plants reached flowering stage. I have noticed that a spider has laid eggs in one of the plants which I thought I took care of. But up till past week there are more webs showing up on the other plants. I check them everyday and clean the webs off but it seems everyday there is a new one. Is there a way to eliminate the problem completely with out harsh chemicals that will affect the users?

You can fight spider mites with ladybugs or other predators. Check some hydro store websites.

Pyrethium (did I spell that right?) helps but it`s better as a preventative than a cure..

If you look through the vids in this thread I think there`s some ladybugs.....

Try an electronic pest control device made for spiders and small pests. It plugs into a wall and emits ultrasonic sounds that should be a pretty good annoyance. I've used this kind and have had pretty good results just in my room: Amazon.com: Black & Decker EX410-2P-TP1 Ultrasonic Pest Repeller, Medium Room: Patio, Lawn & Garden

I'm sure other members will have good suggestions as well.

The mites are fuckers they can ruin a crop. They may well have come in on your clothes from outdoors or somewhere.

What is safers soap? Is there a brand to lookout for? If try spraying with water mixed with lemon dish soap, does that work?

Dunno safers soap myself, got some own brand insecticide soap from B&Q (DIY store), says safe to use on crops before harvest.
Might just be the same as some household soap but that may well have perfume and other crap you don`t want to put on your plants, I`m not sure.

If you do use soap on yer plants make sure to wash it off before harvest.

I have 2 weeks till I begin harvesting as they are a ways into flowering. What would be the best method at this point to try to keep them under control? Is the garden soap and killing them on site the best option at this time?

You will want to repeat your attack every 5 days for three applications, increasing your power slightly each time. That way, you will get the babies as they hatch. I use Azatrol spray for infestations & I put it in the feed every 15 days to prevent breakouts. It is natural and has a growth inhibitor like flea treatment... This is a full scale battle and you can transfer the eggs all over and they will wait to hatch for your NEXT crop. Your cat might be bringing in your next family of mites... I am going to get some small ladybugs with big teeth!!!
