There are over 10000+ grow journals and grow bibles and other faq's and information sources...you seem to have used none of them and instead chose to come ask a silly question with no prior knowledge of the subject..

the fact is that growing weed for profit is a lot harder than it seems, and the first step in the process is to gather the information and resources that are already widely available.

if the only point of it is making money then there are easier (legal) things you can do to make some cash

I agree with the part about getting a job instead of growing for a living. But it's also been proven that all drug sales increase during hard economic times, people are looking for an escape from their troubles.

you cannot grow $1000.00 a week worth of anything in a closet.

first do the math from your end......

say 50 dollars a half oz is going to be your selling price.

for $1000.00 you would need to produce twenty oz.

Even if you could get a full z from each plant/clone you would need twenty plants which have an 8 to 12 week grow period.

to do $1000.00 a week you would need to have simultaneous grows...at least 8 different grows of twenty plants a grow (now were up to about 160 plants @ various ages.) ...apart so you could harvest and start drying every week. You would have to then start a new grow to replace the one you just harvested.

lights......say you are running (2) 400 watt hps lamps per grow ,times 8 grows ....you'll need about 16 lamps and fixtures (and they are not cheap).

While you're @ it, multiply by 8 the amount of water needed.......the volume of air needed (number of ventilation systems.........fert ilizer (minor unless you want to do it like a pro).

To do what you would like to do would require a small warehouse or a very large basement or garage dedicated solely to growing.

If you decide to grow hydroponically (and correctly) tripple your start up costs (except for the lights and fans) ,because you'll need proper hydro chemicals and pumps & filters and large tubs.

just a rough idea of the math...I believe you'll now be inspired to go back and....."read all about it" in the grow room forums.
