Why do people spray good bug?

So your saying because a bud smells good and is harsh its sprayed? Lets think for a minute. Why would a dealer take the time to spray the bud when it wont fool your eyes?

Chances are the buds dry / you have a cough. IDK but ive never gotten sprayed bud and if I did I would get a new hookup fast....

I once saw a dealer of mine spray his product down with a little bit of water once. He simply laid his bud out on a table, sprayed it with a fine mist, flipped it over and sprayed it again, and repeated a few times. He didn't spray it down so much that it was damp to the touch, but, he claimed, doing so would add a couple grams to the weight of the oz. bags of brick commercial he had been selling me up to that point. No shit, dude.

In your case, I am inclined to believe that the bud you were smoking was improperly cured, or, perhaps, it was simply really old and had dried out. I doubt that anyone would spray anything on pot that would make it more harsh on the palate, but you never know.

I've definitely gotten sprayed bud before, but that doesn't sound like it. If it's good bud, I would say it's probably that particular strain. Especially commercial strains, they tend to be much harsher. And since good bud also has a much stronger smell.

The bud that I had bought that was sprayed was pretty shitty bud. It was by far the worst weed I had ever bought. It was sprayed with some green shit, and it also changed the smell to almost nothing. I pretty much decided that it was some bad brick weed that they were trying to make it appear better, and were trying to rid the smell during transportation. It was a real shame, because we smoked a bowl and it only gave us a terrible headache and a tiny buzz. Threw the whole sack away, that was $20 down the drain.
