Stoner; great news. I agree that I have not seen anything like this Coco stuff for indoor grows. The WW plants that were started in coco had to be changed to veg in 4 weeks because they got too big; I have to top them 3 times so far and they are in their 2nd week of 12/12. They are out of fucking control. I have been using the nutes I had from before (PPB, some Sensi, and other to clear out inventory) and used Rhizotonic for root development and Canazym during veg and now (Canna's nute schedule for particular growing conditions and mediums is great). The largest leaves are 15" tip to tip and 12-13 lobes (I know this is more strain specific but HELL). I only have them in 9 liter square pots but the roots are flowing out of the saucers I have them on. I had to place the pots in my e&f table and modify a drip system to feed the thirsty girls. I need a bigger reservoir. Just 4 plants fills 16SF. I am sold on coco; germing, rooting, cloning, growing, it is the bomb with me. I have found a pre-mix that I believe in now; Botanicare's Ready-Grow Moisture Control mix
Botanicare ReadyGro Moisture Formula - Plant It Earth Even though it says it can be watered just once a day; I believe that you may need more if the vigor is there and you want to exploit it. I wish I could post pics; where's your pics Stoner?

If anyone is interested in growing in coco, try googling "Zoo's canna coco nute feeding schedule". It will take you to thc farmer where there is a thread about growing in coco.

Hi,
Quote:
Coco has a great structure, always has a lot of air in it, and it buffers to the right ph, unlike peat. No need to add lime. All you need to do is ph your nutrients to around 6.0, and you're fine. Easy to flush. In fact, if you make sure you have 20% runoff every time you water/feed, you probably never need to flush. Quote:

Because it is so much like hydro, you can very carefully control nutrient content in the soil. Monitor runoff, and adjust your nutrient strength by the runoff. If you want an EC of 1.2, and the runoff is 0.8, feed with a nutrient solution of 1.6 (which is 1.2 + (1.2 - 0.8)) until the runoff is at 1.2 EC. Very easy to do. These numbers should be in addition to the water's EC, which in an mineral based grow is inert - i.e. not available to the plant. So if you want to water with a solution of 1.6 and your water's EC is 0.5, your solution should be 1.6 + 0.5 or 2.1. It flowered on it's own, with very proliferous resin formation. Great smoke too. The nutrients used were inorganic Canna Coco A + B. Quote:
