Why are my buds so small?

What's goin on
I got a closet grow setup goin on not to big for flowering I have a 250w hps system for a grow area of 1.3x 2.5ft I have three of my clones that have been flowering for 14 - 18 days the strain is GDP although it has thin leaves like a sativa... I am giving them a hardware store cheapo 0-10-10 fert and I've invested a bunch with electricity and hardware but it just doesn't seem like I'm getting the best result I can... I spend alot of time in my garden and I really want to produce some quality medicine but I haven't gotten what I'm looking for
Any help or Info is greatly apreciated

For seed, even with a 60/40 indica, 18 days is not much time. You might see 20-30 pistols, and even fewer calyxes.

grand daddy purple?
These guys are right, too early yet to worry about yields Not that we all don't do it.
If everything runs well yield should be good.
Some plants provide you with wicked potency but not much yield to be sure. Some provide both, and some neither.
Good luck to you

Thanks for all input!
I think I am worrying a bit too much... Everyday I see new calyxes... The reason I was worried was my leaves have already got some beautiful resin glands forming small still but I can tell whatever the yield it will be potent! I picked up a GDP clone that I mothered and took clones off of herthe plants are about two feet tall and are beuatiful bushes this is my first flower with my new light so I think it should be sweet
As for fish water... Does that really help? Without adding a fishy taste? Sounds like an awesome idea
As for pictures... I'm on my phone right now but I will hop on the comp and send some farmer
Dandaweedman helpful Info as always appreciate it

You can keep a 250 hps pretty close to the canopy. I kept mine 12 inches above without any problems.

Oh shit
I watered my mommas yesterday and gave them a bigger dose of my 0-10-10 fert I woke up today and the top half of the fan leaves curled leaving them looking like spiders and there is some burning on the leaves
I find it very hard to believe that the light is close enough to do the damage that was done... I was wondering if I should cut off all the curled and look bad leaves? Or will that further stress my baby
Also is it possible that my fert did this in combination with heat?
