Green Dragon question...
So I used a coffee grinder and ground up at least 3 ounces of my stems a week ago and mixed them with a fifth of Everclear. Shook them a bit, and within a day the liquid, besides the plant material sitting on the bottom, is almost completely black now, but turns dark green if you shake it a bunch.
What struck me as strange is that people usually say to give green dragon at least 2 weeks or so before it is ready, but it seems like mine was ready in a day. So my question is, should I give it some more time or try it now? I don't really want to have to drink the shit unless I'm gonna get real high, and I'm not 100% on how to judge the situation.

there's no way your brew can be ready in so short a span of time
it's interesting the color is so dark though

It's gone green because the chlorophyll from the plant matter has dissolved into the alcohol, thc is not green. Give it moar time for the thc to fully dissapate into the alcohol.

if the stems were really dry it shouldnt take very long because the plant material will soak up the alcohol readily. id say its worth trying some, but you can always wait the normal length and be certain

Yeah, as said above I did grind them up into a find dust beforehand, but I'll probably just wait a month or so. Not really any reason I want to drink it now, it smells like bugspray.

^ ive also heard of people running the bottle through the hot rinse cycle on their dish washer to heat the liquid but not break the bottle.
its probably a bit risky so id probably find more info on how to do that if you are thinking of trying that method. and you can melt gummy candy in there too, i think people use that method to make cheap flavored vodka

ya def give it at LEAST a month before trying some. on a side note, when i made green dragon all i did was simmer a gram of headiz (ground up) in 2 ounces of 151 for 20 min until it turned into a dark green color. took about half a shot and had a great time ( it made the 151 taste better). i also drank that night so i wasnt able to provide that great of a fucked up over time chart but i did like it.

Yeah, I waited about 2 weeks total and tried some the other night. Let's just say it worked. IDK if I'm just not used to drinking Everclear, but I got totally fucked-up off 2 shots. I'm glad I've finally produced a working ganja-product (my cooking adventures usually end disappointingly).

On a note to people trying this stuff out, I would recommend drinking it with something that can overpower the taste of everclear, although the weed taste is omnipresent. What I did is mix a shot of green dragon with about 2 shots of grapefruit juice, drink that and chased it with some Red Bull. Maybe the rest of you guys can stand green dragon by itself, but I can't, and the energy drink gives it a really goofy start to the high/drunk. The tanginess of these 2 chasers helps it go down smooth for myself.

^ on an extra side note
you should always dilute everclear before drinking it. concentrated alcohol can lead to nasty problems with your esophagus and mouth
