Genetics and breeding
Okay, I asked this at grasscity and didn't get much so I'll try here.
I'm assuming that cannabis has x and y chromosomes (as does most of the botanical community it seems). If that is the case then it leads to the assumption that their would be sex specific traits (NOT characteristics) that could be propagated. What I'm looking to learn from the seasoned growers is have they observed any traits that would fit this list? It would suck, say, if taste was a male trait and yet we would be looking at a bunch of females judging for that very trait when in actuality it was the male deciding that feature. I hope I've asked this right. Thanks in advance |

i dont think youll get much answer here either, because i believe very little is known about this issue. at least very little is known by me.
from my experience the males seem to have a big effect on tallness of their offspring, but otherwise idk. |

The Cannabis Grow Bible doesn't start to cover stuff like that.
