stunted plants, help me

this is my second grow, the first one turned out awesome. i tried a dwc for my second grow and fucked my plants up. I have stunted plants. I made the kit myself using plastic cups. Is it the cups that stunted the growth cuz they are small for plants but big enuff for beer? i will post pics, right now i hit em with a foiliar( superthrive and seaweed extract) when they dry. maybe i picked the wrong hobby because when i read jorge cervantes book, he has a lot of info to digest. this is real dishearting. help me

you will notice while 6 of em are ugly and there are 2 that look good but they are stunted. i have been dealing with these plants for 3 weeks. Help me. i cant get my pics to upload

how you think i feel, i had a plant i was gonna make a mother. she was under florescents, i went ahead and put her under a metal hallide. hopefully this horror story turns into something good. cuz im out and im so ready to partake of some of the goodness. feel what im say?
