spotting and taking care of hermaphrodites

i run a very large commercial grow op for medical dispensary

with hundreds of plants herm checks are regimen every week if not twice a week.. but after finding so many different situations where it happened id like to bring light on a couple of them.

trying to catch these things is a pain, but how much do i have to worry about things happening?

one situation i find is that from week 3-4 in flower i sometimes find on lower branches a OPEN banana type pod like male looking thing... ive found only a few plants that have this (maybe 10 in 200) and have been cutting them to make edibles or hash or whatever... is this a legit response to such findings? should i just cut them out? it doesnt happen to much, and when it does its clearly on LOWER brances/nodes thhat look as if they are shielded from light, or shouldnt even be there in the first place (I trim out plants hard) .

second thing ive found: a small looking green fleshy type pod in the place of a pistil calyx on the surface of the bud. it almost looks like, a ovary or something... a little seeds almost. i talked to another grower and he says they are a pollen resovoir, meaning if my room where to pollen out, those pods would seed faster...

when i see these things the easiest way to eleviate the problem is to cut the plant down and throw it away, you guys think im being to hastey? easier way to dispose of? if i can keep a 1500$ plant alive i will because its worth more then the small amount of B grade hash i get when cutting it.

pollen is a pretty serious issue in a grow op.
one burst pollen sac contains enough pollen to turn your whole harvest to seed.
that's the bigger issue than the one plant.
i'd be looking into your plants genetics, changing strain to something more stable and looking for inconsistencies in your grow that might be creating herms.

That is waaay too much hermi-ism. 1 in 100 is too much.
Anything that I come across that hermies without a light leak or some other stress I have caused is gone. Plain and simple.
It would be worse in such a large grow. The concsequences could be pretty drastic.
I hear people don't like seeded weed. It pops

Like Cerebro said I would look at enviromental issues first and then genes.
You stated they are from sensi seeds so I am doubtful it is the seed.

its such a huge issue... and its such a pain in the ass (finding pollen sacks in the craziest little crevases deep in a bud)

this is annoying me to the utmost, because ive already lost crops to seeds outs (a loss of 80+ plants, which is way to fucking much)

That's a pretty hard loss for sure.

That's the problem, you usually don't see them till some damage is done.
The wonderful spot of dead pistils half way through flower. Ouch.

Now all you have to do is find the variable. It's only some of them, and they are the same strain as some that have not hermied?
And they are all from seed?
