When your looking into upgrading your ventilation system, should the CFM (Cubic Feet per Min) of the Fan be more or less than the CFM of the Carbon Filter? And, by how much?
This will probably just lead to a new question. ![]() Brass

The same, or less.
If it's too much, the filter won't be able to keep up. I think.

You want the cfm of the filter to be slightly more than that of the fan. So if your fan moved 300, a 300 or 400 rated filter should work fine.
If the filter is too big or small it might not work properly. If it is too small it will reduce the airflow.
