I'd go lollipop then- I wouldn't top or fim them.
Or if you want a multi- stem set up LST works pretty good with most strains. If you do go with one big lollipop cola, watch for mould in late flowering. Bigbud can grow massive colas that are a bit susceptible to mould..

Yeah it stresses the plant less if you do it in veg I think.
Don't over do it .Edit- you can always do a bit more early in flower to tidy them if you like.

any input appreciated#ta jed I would leave the branches as well man. Are they getting good sized? Maybe try tying them down too. This may take up more room though depending on branching, how they're tied, etc. Getting them out where they have access to more light will get you some good sized buds as well. |

im using canna coco plus with A+B, rhizotonic and will be introducing cannazym this week. as i wasnt sure if it was ec i lowered that from 1.5 to 1.3 and also lifted the lights (hps600) from 50 cm to 70 cm and they have not got any worse. hope that has done it.

im no guru but i tried all these techniques on my last grow and the two i had best results with were the lst, and just literally cutting the main stalk a little less than halfway point and that plant blew up bigger than all my other ones with about 4 budsites.
i dont know if that was just a fluke. i wish you the best of luck on yer grow man |

Cutting it down the middle? I've heard of people doing this to good effect. I did once accidentally split a plant's stem down the middle through overenthusiastic LST . Both sides grew out ok . Seems a bit brutal though. If you're using coco, are you keeping any eye on the EC of the run off? This should give clues about how much nutrients your plants are using and if they're overfed or whatever. Maybe start a thread with a picture or two for best advice- it's a bit hard to say what's going on otherwise. I'm not a coco expert TBH but can likely tell from a pic if a plant is overfed.
