I'm jealous of your plants.

yeah i get it, but i still dont understand the desire to use a known shitty fertilizer when he knows better.

i understand trying to run a simple as possible CFL grow as an experiment, but dont know why you would purposefully try to make your buds taste shittier, when you could easily just use some other equally simple and cheap ferts.

and if you were totally going that experimental/shitty route, why run a hyrdo/scrog set up. If someone is invested and knowledgeable enough to run that set up they wouldnt be using miracle grow.

weird experiment if you ask me...

why not do a cool experiment with this non-serious grow, like one that there arent a million examples of online already(using miracle grow.) However, there might not be many of someone who knows better using miracle grow on purpose for no reason though. lol

but whatever floats your boat i guess.

he is doing it on purpose

as in, do everything that people preach against all the time to find out if they are full of shit

miracle grow works fine for other plants why is it poison for weed? do you have some kind of explanation as to why you are so offended by a curious experiment?

And a thousand exsamples of a noob using merical grow are available. One of someone who has a gram or two of scence on growing. Im perpously using lower standard lights and ferts with good methods to see what the best of the worst is. And that known shitty fert thong bothers me cause ever you one regurgitates that line nut none say why its shitty this will show why its shitty.

fair enough.

i dont really have anything to back up my claim of shittiness honestly, nor am motivated enough to look for it.

ive believed the common consensus was that many types of miracle grow are pretty harsh for a weed plant, as well as have a negative effect on taste(which can be helped by proper flushing etc etc).

and capt, im not as offended as i came across.

Dont mean to double post but i pulled the merical grow bitch to a total dry yeild of 24 grams from 120w cfl light and now i really dont understand why every one screams about it.

I might have been able to get a little more bud if i had clipped the bottoms but i just chopped them up for bho with the rest of the trim and shitty budz i thonk im gonna have to try this under my old 150w hps.

Back in the day when we bought Miracle Grow we found it to be unrefined and heavy in salts. It did not mix well with water and our reservoirs had to be filled a day early and stirred many times or sediment would collect on the bottom and foul the pumps. It caused nutrient lock and was not ph balanced. Easy fixes but other more modern companies appeared with self balancing ph and added micronutrients, plus no sediments.
Never switched back once we changed fert's. They are a large company and seemed to be geared towards backyard gardens and trees. Perhaps they have adjusted some of their formulas to be more in line with the customer demands of the indoor grow industry but I doubt it
