Wink pot size question

I actually have 2 questions about "pot" size. first of all, I'm worried that my actual plastic pot with the dirt is too small and doesn't have enough dirt. I have no real reason to think that it is a problem, it's just a common sense feeling type thing. so, are there any signs of the pot and roots not being big enough or what is a minimum size for the pots?

also, my 5 female plants have been in the flowering stage for a little more than 2 weeks and range from about 1 to 2 feet. I'm using a 70 watt hps. I've been thinking about it and it doesn't seem like a whole lot of weed could grow on these things in another month and a half. so were most of you surprised at how much bud there was?

thanks for any replies. and also I'm pretty high and I just realized how stupid and corny this whole question sounds. its actually mad funny

a 3 gallon pot is the minimum I would use if i wanted to grow my plants to their potential.

I have seen 6 inch pots being used but that could lead into problems and could stunt your plants growth.

I have been told that 5 gallon buckets are the best to use.

I hope this helps

Using a pot too small could cause slow growth, yellowing of the plant, and eventual death. If they look healthy don't worry about it.

Choose pot size relative to other grow factors like outdoors/indoors or small light/big light. Growing indoors with a small light source will require less root space than an outdoor plant under the intense light of the sun. Pot size is one factor the determines the size of the final product. Pot size will also help determine your watering habits. A large plant in a small pot will require many more waterings than a small plant in a big pot.

The buds you see now will keep getting fatter and taller. Expose as many of the buds as possible to the lights.
