Pictures and questions

Hi all

After some sweat and tears here are some pics along with some questions.

1 the first pic is the white russian, is this how its supposed to look like closer to harvest?
2 second pic is the whiterussian flower, how ready is this one.
3/4 The 3rd and the fourth pics is the thai tanic. surely this must be ready?
5 Here is a sativa variety, about 10 feet tall. how long more to go?

all comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated. more pics to follow much later.

ciao

1 and 2 are done to perfection, 3 and 4 could do with a week or two more, the sativa looks like it will go awhile yet.

Gorgeous pictures man, gorgeous.

Thanks for making my afternoon.

how come we get seeds in the node, is because it still needs to open up? particularly in the lower or far out buds.

^ If you have seeded buds let them go a few days longer, usually you will see them beginning to poke out unless they have been overgrown with un pollenated floral clusters.

And yes, generally a two stage harvest is a good plan for outdoor plants as the lower buds may have been shaded and hence not fully developed, removal of what is done and ready will give the rest a chance to catch up.

I'm not entirely sure if that was the question though.

Still gives me another excuse to look at the pictures.

thanks sureshot, you have been kind.

the plants are too far away for me to go picking leaves everyday. but i can understand what you mean farmer fred, i often did the same when they were closeby.

the plants also sufferred a hail storm and strong winds. i see reduced resin on the plants since. wonder if they will recoup?

Beautiful, simply beautiful.

Lovely plants man, you've made my day. Outdoor is the best of herbs. Enjoy that my friend, you deserve it!

And thanks for sharing the photographs.

[edit - seeds are good, assuming they were pollenated from a decent male and not wild scrub, unless aid wild scrub has some potency.]

Drying Question

You see these pictures and most of them have now been harvested. They hang wrapped in newspapers in the shed, where its airy and dark.

Question: how come i don't don't get the potent smell yet? they weathered a hale storm ( some of them) just before harvest. Or is it possible that they are now overgrown and the thc has been significantly reduced?

Would love to hear your comments and share your experience .

not sure what curing entails, is that another word for waiting and drying?
