Please clarify; too rich or too lean?

I'm sorry I am confused;

Please explain in detail about this chart and how to use it.

My plants are 4 weeks old, about 4-8" hi, in basic commercial potting soil.
I think the soil is holding too much water, but am not sure how to determine the chemical balances and adjust.

The plants were transplanted 2 weeks ago. Initially 2 almost died; wilted then finally came back around. The other 4 are doing OK. One has the leaves curling up around the leaf edges. It seesm that when they need watering they are lighter green, and afterwards they get darker green; is that my imagination or?

Also I have 2 5000k "daylight" flouros, 1 plant floro and one aquarium floro; are these good for veging? Flower?
How long do you have to wait before re-transplanting? My ladies are already outgrowing their pots after 2 weeks!

The biggest new grower mistake is too much luv... and water.

To use the chart, check the listings on the left to see where/what type of damage is on the plant.
Then look to the right where it says yes... go to that heading above to see what nute/s they need, or whether it is over-nuted.

Sometimes less is more.

Jorge Cervantes updated his classic Grower's Bible and it has been an absolutely invaluable tool in my little grow. (Title: "Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Grower's Bible") It provides an unbelievable amount of helpful information, and has some great photos that show what "yellow veins" or "necrosis" or whatever your favorite weed affliction looks like, and how to address it, among all kinds of other critical information. Of course leaving your book sitting on the coffee table is likely to raise a few eyebrows among unanticipated guests! So I leave mine in the bathroom for those occasions you have time on your hands...
