Tabbing in posts

I know there is the indent feature,

to prove it I'll use it

but I was wondering if there was any other to go about using indents. Because I like to do write-ups in note-pad or word and copy them into here for posting. And its reallllly depressing when you have this nicely formatted document then on posting it just turns into a chunk.

if you don't have the time, it's all good. It's just a suggestion. I'll prolly just make an application that turns text into bb code later on tonight if I'm bored enough.

Maybe it's parse-able through the php I know the chr value for the indent is 9.

i think 5 spaces is pretty standard for an indentation
thats what i use for all of my emails at least.

like I feel kind of like a stupid whiny bitch for asking this because it is just me being lazy. But I dunno I feel like it'd be useful in some instances for sure to be able to use indents just by hitting tab verses the |indent| text |/indent|

For recipes, and walk-throughs I find tab's really helpful in seperating content. But your probably right.
