Thing is being mod isn't the top....It's like being the elephant trainer.....get too close and you get stomped on, people trust you more since your 'in charge'. Mostly we just clean up shit and try to keep the livestock on healthy diet regiments.

Believe me, its not fun having to make calls here sometimes. Normally it's pretty peaceful, although I think there have pretty much been some all out wars at some point over the last 10 years.

My wife and I do and have used sage in smudging.

And while my family likely has some Native family members in and it , and my olive coloured 'white' skin, that turns nice and dark in the sun, comes from somewhere besides England, I'd think, which is where my family name comes from.

I have evidence of roots in the States as early as 1730's and I know those people had to have married people from local bands in PA, and historians agree.

My celebration of earth based faith comes from Gaelic traditions (England, Scotland specifically), as we observe the seasons by them.

I think the answer is hybrid

Although I have gotten in touch with the Aboriginal view of earth centred spirituality more since living up here in central BC....(see where: on my side bar)
