unless anyone wants to send me a nice pm, i think this discussion is pretty much finished.
we will continue in the excellence of not needing a rating system, and the awesomeness of the thanks button is somewhat revealed. however, the use of the thanks button should be limited as much a possible, to encourage yahookans to come together with conversation, and avoid becoming yes/no button pushers with no deeper thoughts to share.
