suggestion

I was just thinking of a suggestion, don't shoot the messenger if you don't like it....

So I was thinking if you edit your post, (well after it's posted), but all you change is one or two letters on a word here and there (as in fixing typos [once your sober and read what you wrote

]) maybe it shouldn't say edited by so and so at this time?

I mean sometimes I just fix a letter here and there, and when it says edited by Mikey 4 hours later, I think that people might think (very paranoid I know...) that it's like wow he wrote something, a whole buncha people wrote back, and then he changed what he said. When I really was just trying to be grammatically correct.

Maybe I'm just blowing things out of proportion, I'm in no way shape or form complaining, just thought I'd throw a suggestion into the hat.

I usually type 'typos'

If push comes to shove, we can read all the added and remove stuff in mod view, so we can always verify what was changed.

Or just say fuck it... but that is always an option

I've already extended the edit time before it registers to 5 min, if it takes you 4 hours to realize you typed something that needs fixing perhaps it should be registered.

Yeah dude it is all about the ninja edit...if you can't get in within the first 5 min, you deserve the shame of the "this post was edited by..." message...

It's funny when people are arguing and quoting each other, by the end, nothing reads like it was quoted and whole new arguments are formed from the edits...

i change typos all the time lol....i cant spell at all apparently.

but yeah 5 mins is plenty of time to fix the typos usually...or i just put cant spell for the reason of editing
