i agree, trying to grow in a 2+ ft space and expecting plenty of bud is getting kind of silly, but chill nimorg, you've been smoking some febreeze tainted bud!
however there are such things as water and air cooled HID lights. if you dont have the money but are tool-handy imagine a typical horizontal HPS with shade, now close off both ends of the shade, have a sheet of glass attached to the bottom of the shade, attach a squirrel extraction fan to the shade, make an inlet. you could get it to be under a ft in height. now, with a pot in one end of your grow space a ft high, and with some extreem training during the veg period(it would pay to let the plant stretch - being thinner and more supple) you could possibly grow it out and over the pot and back down to ground level then along the ground under the HID that theoretically is not giving off heat in your grow space..
or instead of training the plant right at the start, you could use an old 10 lt (4gal?) plastic paint pot, cut a 3/4 inch hole in the middle of the lid, grow your plant out through the hole (i haven't worked out how you water yet..) and when its a ft in height you can tip the pot on its side without lots of dirt falling out..
