i never found it to be depressing high or sober but i have come across others who found it depressing. i think you guys are really missing out. it's like...THE randomity film.
here are just few of the random scenes:
-as his wife walks away, he throws a snowball at her and after asking if she's okay he tells her she "turned into it"
-the guy watching him on tv: "what kind of a name is spritz? it's a bullshit name...it's a tv name. i don't like his face...i don't like his asshole face."
-"bj's lacked enthusiam" on answering what the problem was throughout their marriage
-his daughter tears her acl-mcl in "a fucking potato-sack race"
-he calls his ex-wife's fiance a "dildo"
-"targets don't move" "well, you know, Shelly...You haven't really hit one yet"
-the long chain of thought he starts after checking out some chick's ass on the way to pick up food (and he forgets the tartar sauce after all)
-he whips "dildo" with his glove and then narrates with "if you want your father to think you're not a silly fuck...don't slap a guy across the face with a glove"
u need to get the real taste for that movie - it really is a comedy, i swear hahaha. just check it out next time u smoke..and be in the mood to laugh.
--u just have to see it for wat it is which is a terribly hilarious account of a very frusterated person's life.
